Below is a full list of materials we purchased for building the cigar band poker table.


Required Materials:


  • One sheet of 8′x4′ Oak plywood (or two 4′x4′ sheets); 5/8″ or 3/4″ thickness.
  • Adhesive to keep the cigar bands in place
  • Pourable epoxy
  • Screws
  • Speed cloth (for the playing surface)
  • Vinyl for the padded rail
  • 1″ foam for the padded rail
  • Metal cup holders
  • 1/4″ foam for the playing surface
  • Metal folding legs
  • Stylized rope
  • Dry wall tape (or something similar to create track borders)
  • Clear packaging tape

  • Staple gun
  • Screwdriver
  • Hot glue gun
  • Tape measure
  • Scissors
  • Jigsaw
  • Dremel (or other precision cutting tool)
